AAM have been a continuous sponsor of AIMS Conference’s for over 15 years. We’ve been involved since the early days of AIMS and pleased to see this event still going strong year after year.

How has your previous sponsorship benefitted the delegates?
We are proud to be one of AIMS Conference’s regular sponsors. Sponsorship helps make the events possible, and gives delegates the chance to learn more about our latest product and services and what we can do to help the industry.

Why do you sponsor AIMS Conferences?
Applied Resolution Technologies is a sponsor of the AIMS conference because we interact with many mine surveyors in the course of our business, but very rarely do we get to meet them. We manufacture laser products and normally keep busy with manufacturing, assembling and testing. An opportunity to put faces to names and discuss needs and requirements on a bulk scale is embraced as a great way to get to know the people who use our products, and for them to get to know us.

Being a sponsor at the Annual conference also gives us the opportunity to display new ideas and products, and discuss ideas for whatever we might develop next. Our product development follows not only our ideas, but requirements from the user market. At this year’s conference, we will be displaying a broad range of IECEx Certified laser systems and hopefully a few new ideas that surveyors can ponder on.

Why does Carlson sponsor AIMS Conferences?
AIMS is one of the major annual events that we attend every year. As we sell mine survey products, it is focused on one of our key markets and allows us the rare opportunity to get to talk face to face to existing and new users of our technology, whilst also educating people in the industry on the capabilities and limitations of our systems.

How long have you sponsored the yearly conferences?
This is our first official year as Carlson, following the acquisition of the Renishaw division in September 2017. However, previous to that we have been sponsoring the AIMS events for over 10 years and hopefully many more to come.

How has your previous sponsorship benefitted the delegates?
We would hope that the delegates have benefitted from our focus on providing knowledge of our products. The delegates are highly skilled professionals, so are able to make informed decisions on what is best for their site. We see our role as assisting clients in making that decision, and the best one for them, not for us.

Deswik is committed to supporting the advancement of the mine surveying industry. In 2016, we extended our software capability to encompass survey requirements and integrate them as part of the mine planning and scheduling process.
